Head of Flight Operations

What will you do

  • Lead the Flight Operations Department to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight activities, maintaining 24/7 operational readiness.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, and standard operating practices in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all operations comply with applicable aviation regulations (EASA, FAA, or relevant Civil Aviation Authority).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, flight crews, and aviation authorities on operational matters.
  • Conduct internal audits, investigations, and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage staffing levels, training programs, and performance evaluation for operations personnel.

What you bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including nights
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a dose of flexibility
  • Good written and spoken English skills, additional language (French, Spanish, German) is an advantage
